Michał Dworczyk, who runs the Office of Poland's Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, said on Tuesday that Warsaw and the Vatican are convergent in their views on migration policy. PM Morawiecki was given a 30-minute audience with Pope Francis on Monday. He also met the Vatican's Secretary of State, cardinal Pietro Parolin. The aide said the prime minister was told "many warm words" about the Polish government's social programmes, "thanks to which, over 90 percent of children in multi-child families have been lifted out of poverty."
