The presidents of the Visegrad Four (the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland) have expressed concern over the presidential vote in Belarus and asked its authorities to drop violence in a statement the Czech Presidential Office passed to CTK today. They also asked foreign actors to be reserved and not to take any action that would undermine the independence and sovereignty of Belarus. The presidents asked Belarus to organise a new presidential election and stressed the need of a peaceful solution to the crisis.
