Hungary's economy is likely to grow by 4.3-4.5 percent this year and by over 4 percent in 2019, the finance minister said. Supporting businesses remains a priority for the government, Mihaly Varga told parliament's business development committee. In line with this goal, the government will continue to ease the tax burdens on Hungarian companies as set out in a six-year agreement concluded at the end of 2016, he said. By late 2022, tax burdens on Hungarian businesses will fall below the Visegrad Group average, Varga added.
