V4 public media to intensify cultural cooperation

Hungary's public media plan to intensify cooperation with other countries in the Visegrad Group, namely the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia, Miklos Vaszily, the director-general of public-service media provider MTVA, said on Tuesday after talks with V4 counterparts. Several projects are underway in cooperation by two or three V4 members and some projects involve all the four. A new film about the life of Maria Theresa made in Czech-Hungarian-Slovak coproduction will be premiered in the three countries after Christmas, he said.
