The United Right, Poland's ruling bloc, would not win a parliamentary majority if early elections had been held on Sunday, a poll showed on Tuesday. The unity of the United Right has come under pressure recently owing to disagreements within its ranks and speculation that it might collapse. "Law and Justice (PiS) would win a parliamentary election, if it were held on Sunday, but the party led by Jaroslaw Kaczynski would fall short of a parliamentary majority," the United Surveys poll carried out for the Dziennik Gazeta Prawna newspaper and the RMF FM radio station showed.
