Unions: Complusory pre-school in Slovakia good idea, but preparations inadequate

The introduction of compulsory pre-school education might be a good measure for Slovakia, but everything hinges on the financial onus it will put on towns and villages, Education and Science Trade Union (OZPSaV) chair Pavel Ondek told TASR on Monday. "The state should also make sure that this is financially well-prepared, both in terms of personnel and premises," emphasised Ondek.
