Hundreds of runners and tourists are expected to take part in the toughest run in what was formerly Czechoslovakia on Zobor hill in Nitra on New Year's Eve, the organiser, a non-profit organisation called Cakanka, has announced. The 3,490-metre race will start near the ruins of the oldest monastery in Slovakia (9th century) adjacent to the Specialised Hospital of Saint Svorad at an altitude of 330 metres and will feature several climbs and descents.
