Tomas: Smer-SD mulling option to donate 2 pc of taxes to parents

Smer-SD is mulling the introduction of the option for taxpayers to allocate 2 percent of their income tax to their parents, Smer-SD MP Erik Tomas has posted on his profile on a social network, adding that the senior governing party would like to strengthen intergenerational solidarity in this way. "I can confirm that there's been a discussion within the party for some time on an idea that would enable working people to donate 2 percent of their income tax to their parents," stated Tomas.
