Three quarters of Czechs want pension system changes

December 19th, 2018

Seventy-three percent of Czechs would like the state pension system to be changed, but out of a set of suggested changes, only the division of pensions into two parts corresponding to the first and second pension pillars enjoys a majority support, a CVVM agency's poll has shown. On the other hand, people are opposed to changes such as an extension of the compulsory minimal length of pension insurance and an increase in the retirement age, the poll showed.
