Three Polish nominees for European Film Award

The Polish productions Cold War (Polish: Zimna wojna) by Paweł Pawlikowski, Fugue (Fuga) by Agnieszka Smoczyńska and The Face (Twarz) by Małgorzata Szumowska are among the 49 nominees for this year's European Film Award. A shortlist from the 49 nominated feature length films will be announced on November 10 at the European Film Festival in Seville. The winner will be announced at the awards ceremony, which will take place in Seville on December 15. The European Film Awards have been presented annually since 1988 by the European Film Academy to recognise excellence in European cinema.
