Thousands attend mass in honour of saints Cyril and Methodius

Thousands of people attended a national pilgrimage in honour of saints Cyril and Methodius in Nitra on Friday, a public holiday in Slovakia, where Bishop Frantisek Rabek celebrated mass. Rabek in his sermon said the Cyrilo-Methodian heritage was the "backbone of the nation".
