Taiwan considers Poland a country free of bird flu and has reopened its market to Polish poultry, the Polish Agriculture Ministry has announced. Bird flu appeared in Poland in late 2016. The disease was reported in 65 places in 12 provinces of Poland. It was also detected in many other European countries. Taiwan's decision to close its market to Polish poultry was a formal one as Poland had not exported any poultry to that country. Now, Taiwan has reopened its market to Polish poultry produced after April 19, 2018.
