Hungary's foreign minister has again appealed to the Council of Europe's Secretary-General over Ukraine's new education law affecting Transcarpathian Hungarians, the foreign ministry said on Wednesday. Peter Szijjarto told Thorbjorn Jagland in a letter that the Ukrainian parliament and the country's government had failed to take any action to comply with the opinion released in connection with the contested law by the Venice Commission six months ago, the ministry said.
