Under the extraordinary circumstances created by the novel coronavirus pandemic, it is especially important to intensify NATO's anti-terrorism efforts, Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto told MTI on Thursday, ahead of a videoconference meeting of the alliance's foreign ministers. Terrorism is a root cause of illegal migration all over the world, Szijjarto said. Migration not only comes with "cultural and security risks" but "extreme health risks", too, he said. The spread of the virus may speed up significantly along the routes of "illegal, uncontrolled migration", he said.
