Swift action needed to end Poland-EU dispute - Senate Speaker

Poland's Senate Speaker Stanislaw Karczewski declared on Wednesday that Poland "wants to put a quick end to the ongoing dispute with the EC" and stressed that this required rapid work on draft amendments to the laws on judicial reforms. The Sejm (lower house)started to discuss, among other issues, the ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party's recently filed drafts amending the laws on the Supreme Court, the Constitutional Tribunal and common courts.
