On Sunday, 102 new coronavirus cases were confirmed in the Czech Republic, the lowest figure in the past two weeks, while the number of the currently ill, 4,811, has been the highest since the epidemic outbreak in early March, according to the Health Ministry's data released this morning. However, the number of coronavirus tests is usually lower during weekends and holidays than on weekdays. The coronavirus infection has been so far confirmed in 16,800 people in the Czech Republic with a population of 10.5 million, while 384 patients with COVID-19 have died.
