Stats office: EU-harmonised inflation at 1.6 pc in December

The EU-harmonised inflation rate in Slovakia reached 1.6 percent year-on-year in December, while consumer prices remained unchanged from November, the Statistics Office reported on Wednesday. The average harmonised inflation rate for the 12-month period ending in December 2020 amounted to 2.0 percent. It decreased by 0.8 percentage points from 2019 and was the lowest figure seen since 2017.
