December 27th, 2019
The three-month moving average of the Economic Sentiment Indicator (ESI) has fallen by 0.9 points month-on-month in December 2019 to 97.9 points, mainly due to drops in confidence in industry, trade, services and among consumers, while only developments in construction have remained stable, the Statistics Office reported on Friday. The current ESI lags behind the long-term average by 5.7 points and has risen by 0.4 points in year-on-year terms.
