State supplies vaccine without syringes, hospitals use their own

The Czech state has been supplying the Covid vaccine without equipment such as needles and syringes and hospitals have to use their own stock, which, they say, is insufficient and therefore the State Material Reserves Administration (SSHR) is dealing with the issue, iROZHLAS has reported. In addition, the Czech Republic has joined a joint European Union tender ordering the complementary medical equipment from China, the site said. "For the time being, the supplies only contain boxes with ampoules with the vaccine," Pardubice Region Governor Martin Netolicky (Social Democrats, CSSD) said.
