State auditor: Probe into Jobbik's alleged blocking of oversight of finances closed

Authorities have closed an investigation into radical nationalist Jobbik's alleged blocking of the state auditor's (ASZ) oversight of its finances after finding no criminal wrongdoing on Jobbik's part, ASZ said on Monday. In a press release published on aszhirportal.hu, the audit office noted that last October it had lodged a complaint with the public prosecutor, insisting that Jobbik had blocked its attempts to monitor its finances. The auditor said then that Jobbik had failed in its obligation to make the relevant data available following a request made in early August.
