If prices on global markets continue to rise even in the next year, the Government will once again consider refunds for gas to be paid to people, Economy Ministry spokesman Maros Stano told TASR on Monday. Responding to the criticism of gas charge hikes and state-subsidised charges by opposition Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) party earlier in the day, Stano stated that without regulation policies the impacts on households would have been even more painful.
