Some CZK 3.5 m collected for mine blast victims' families

People have already donated over 3.5 million crowns to the families of the 13 miners who died in last Thursday's methane explosion in the CSM coal mine in Stonava near Karvina, the representatives of the two charities managing the donation accounts have told CTK. The St Barbara Society will divide the money among the orphans and the OKD Foundation will help all the families.
