Some 1,300 Czechs to attend cultural festival in Banat, Romania

A train with 1272 visitors and performers will leave for the 7th cultural festival Banat in Romania from a Prague railway station on August 14, organiser Stepan Slany told journalists today. In one of the villages with ethnic Czechs, Eibental, performances will be delivered by over 30 singers. There will be also lectures and public discussions. The organisers mainly want to help the local Czech community, for whom tourism is a vital source of income.
