Thirty-five percent of Poles believe that the situation in Poland is improving, while 40 percent hold the opposite view, a survey by the Kantar Public polling firm has shown. Fully 25 percent have no opinion on the matter. The percentage of optimists went down by one percentage point from April 2018, and the proportion of pessimists also fell by one percentage point, Kantar Public said. Altogether 56 percent of people say the Polish economy is booming, 29 percent have a negative opinion about its condition, and 15 percent cannot say. Positive opinions on the economy decreased by three percentage points from April and negative opinions were up by one percentage point.
