Socialists-Parbeszed mark Hungary's 15th EU anniversary

Leaders of the opposition Socialist-Parbeszed alliance advocated "a strong Europe focusing on its people" at a press conference on Tuesday, marking the 15th anniversary of Hungary's membership of the European Union. "The EU membership of the Hungarian government is solely about looting EU subsidies, thus preventing Hungarians from closing the gap (with the West)," he said. The Socialist leader vowed to fight "to realise the dream of Hungarians ... and to build a Europe of social welfare".
