The percentage of respondents who believed that the general situation in Poland was headed in the right direction dropped by 2 pps to 49 percent in December, whereas the percentage of pessimists increased by 3 pps to 37 percent, a CBOS survey shows. Fourteen percent of those surveyed did not have an opinion on the matter, down by 1 percentage point compared to the previous month. According to the poll, the assessment of the country's economic situation has slightly deteriorated in recent weeks. The positive opinions decreased by 5 percentage points to 49 percent, while negative opinions remained unchanged at 12 percent, CBOS said.
