Sobotka stresses Czech Republic's role in EU

The Czech government has been active in the European Union over the past four years and has succeeded in bringing issues it considers important to the forefront, Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka told reporters on Thursday. These include the issue of wage convergence, joint European defence and the issue of double standards on food quality, Sobotka said.
