The former governing Slovak National Party (SNS) declined to say on Monday whether its chairman Andrej Danko was told in advance that his planned visit to Russia recently, in which he was set to accompany Czech Vice-premier Jan Hamacek, was only a smokescreen for investigating the explosion that took place in a Czech ammo warehouse in 2014 with the alleged involvement of Russia's secret services. Danko was supposed to travel to Russia with Hamacek on Monday to discuss supplies of the Sputnik V vaccine to the Czech Republic.
