Slovaks to be able to study at prestigious Berkeley as of 2018

As of next year Slovak PhD students and young scientists from Zilina University will be able to study at one of the world's most prestigious educational institutions - the University of California, Berkeley, TASR learnt on Friday. A memorandum of understanding to this effect has been inked by Vice-premier for Investments and Informatisation Peter Pellegrini, Vice-rector for International Relations and Marketing of Zilina University Jozef Ristvej and Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of California Shankar Sastry.
