Slovakia unemployment 6.1 pc in Oct

The unemployment rate in Slovakia in October 2017 stood at 6.14 percent, down by 0.28 percentage points month-on-month and by 2.94 p.p. year-on-year, Labour, Social Affairs and the Family Centre (UPSVaR) general director Marian Valentovic said at a press conference also featuring Prime Minister Robert Fico and Labour Minister Jan Richter on Monday. "A very good piece of news is that we don't have any districts anymore in Slovakia with an unemployment rate exceeding 20 percent," said Fico.
