Slovakia to receive Romanian delegation in Banska Bystrica on April 5

Slovakia will be visited by a delegation from Romania led by Prime Minister Viorica Dancila on April 5. The visit should originally have taken place on March 25. It was postponed by the Romanian side, however, and the Slovak Government okayed the revised date on Wednesday. Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini will receive Dancila in Banska Bystrica. "The location is meant to be symbolic, as in March 2019 the city of Banska Bystrica celebrated the 74th anniversary of the liberation of the city from Nazi occupation by Soviet and Romanian armies," the Slovak foreign ministry said.
