Slovakia posts trade surplus of EUR 219.7 m in May

Slovakia posted a trade-balance surplus of 219.7 million euros in May, up 114.4 million euros year-on-year, the Statistics Office said in its detailed report for May on Friday. The country exported goods worth 4.572 billion euros, down 34.3 percent y-o-y in May. Imports reached 4.353 billion euros, decreasing by 36.5 percent y-o-y.
