Slovakia introduces more exemptions from quarantine for commuters

The distance limit for cross-border commuters is being extended from 30 to 100 kilometres as of Monday, according to a regulation on border arrangements issued by the Public Health Office (UVZ). Quarantine won't apply to people who have a permanent or temporary residence in a neighbouring state within 100 kilometres of the Slovak border and work in Slovakia (also within 100 kilometres of the border). However, a negative antigen or RT-PCR test no older than seven days is still required.
