Fifty-eight coalition MPs, including members of all four coalition parties, have signed an appeal called 'We Stand by a Free Belarus', MP Ondrej Dostal (Freedom and Solidarity/SaS) said during a press conference on Tuesday. By signing the appeal, the MPs rejected the results of what they called a "rigged election" in Belarus and condemned the violence perpetrated by President Alexander Lukashenko's regime, calling for a halt to the violence. They also expressed support the peaceful protests of the democratic forces and said they believed that further steps in coordination with the EU were necessary.
