Slovakia cancels secondary school entrance exams

There will be no standard entrance examinations for admission to secondary schools this school year, Education Minister Branislav Grohling (Freedom and Solidarity/SaS) announced at a news conference on Wednesday. Instead of entrance exams, students' performance at primary schools will be decisive in terms of their admission to secondary schools.
