Slovak trade unions have called on the government to adjust salaries in the public sector "in the shortest possible time" and did not rule out a possible strike if the government should fail to act. The Trade Union Confederation (KOZ) called on the government to meet its commitment from the higher-level collective agreement and present a proposal to adjust salary brackets in the public administration. The cabinet should have done so by the end of March this year.
