Slovak Supreme Court decides against dissolving LSNS

A senate of Slovakia's Supreme Court on Monday dismissed a motion to dissolve the far-right People's Party Our Slovakia (LSNS). In its justification, the court said that the fact that the party supports Slovakia's departure from NATO and that it wants to hold a referendum on whether the country should leave the EU was not disputed between the party and the plaintiff, adding that these opinions on their own were not sufficient at this stage to dissolve the party. "It hasn't been demonstrated yet that the party subject to the complaint has used any means incompatible with the legal system in Slovakia in order to carry out the [aforementioned] intention," reads a Supreme Court statement provided to TASR by its spokesperson Alexandra Vazanova.
