Slovak retail tax bill to undergo changes

The special levy for retail chains has yet to undergo certain adjustments in parliament, said MP Radovan Balaz at a session of the parliamentary financial affairs committee, adding that his party is preparing an amending proposal. In their amending proposal SNS MPs want to take into account the specific nature of retail outlets located in the least developed districts. "We want outlets in small villages or in villages with a maximum of two outlets to be exempted from this law," said Balaz.
