Only the German judiciary has the right to pursue criminal proceedings in the matter of the Vietnamese citizen who was ilkidnapped, Prosecutor-General's Office spokesperson Andrea Predajnova told TASR on Wednesday. "The German judicial bodies have provided no official information to their Slovak counterparts on the course or the result of the criminal proceedings carried out in the Federal Republic of Germany. German judicial bodies have no such obligation to inform Slovak judicial bodies under any international agreement," said Predajnova. According to Predajnova, Slovak judicial bodies have only been asked by German judicial bodies to provide legal assistance.
