Slovak PM to name interior min candidate next week

Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini told the media on Friday that he will "do his utmost" to present a candidate for the post of interior minister and ask President Andrej Kiska to appoint the person as soon as early next week. According to Pellegrini, the new interior minister could assume his office as early as on Wednesday. The prime minister reiterated that he will not comment on individual names that have appeared in media until the party leadership has chosen a definite candidate.
