Slovak interior ministry publishes party slates for general election
December 10th, 2019
Slovakia's interior ministry published the slates of political parties for the 2020 general election on Tuesday. The slates have been made available to the public on the ministry's website. A total of 25 parties, movements and coalitions intend to take part in next year's general election. Political parties had until midnight on Dec. 1 to submit their slates. In addition, they had to pay an election deposit amounting to 17,000 euros. This will only be returned to parties that win at least 2 percent of the votes in the election.
