September 11th, 2017

Industrial production recorded an annual growth of 9.2 percent in July 2017, influenced primarily by a 10.2 percent growth in industrial manufacturing and of 4.1 percent in supplies of electricity, gas, steam and air-conditioning components, the Slovak Statistics Office announced on Monday. Meanwhile, a contraction of 6.1 percent was recorded in mining and quarrying. After seasonal adjustments, industrial production shrank by 3.3 percent month-on-month.
