Slovak govt to discuss university loans, PhD students in September

An amendment on loans for university students as well as social insurance for third-level university students should start to be discussed in September, Education Minister Martina Lubyova said after meeting representatives of the Slovak Rectors Conference (SRK) and the University Student Council (SRVS) on Friday. "We concurred that our goal is to make university studies in Slovakia more attractive and also to make study conditions more attractive for PhD students, who are very important for our future," said the minister.
