Slovak govt sets up new employment council

Robert Fico's Cabinet has a new advisory body, as the government on Wednesday approved the setting up of a Government Council for Employment Development in line with a proposal from the labour ministry. The Council will be responsible for monitoring the current state of the labour market and employment services. It will give respective ministers recommendations, and draw up measures for increasing the level of qualified labour and eliminating the reasons for its shortage.
