Slovak govt proxy commemorates Roma Holocaust
August 1st, 2018
Abel Ravasz, the Slovak government's commissioner for Roma communities, marked Roma Holocaust Memorial Day, on its eve on Wednesday. "We must commemorate all the victims of Nazi extermination camps. All the more so as we live in times in which a number of groups, including some elected lawmakers, attempt to engage in baseless glorification of the 1939-45 Slovak state, which deported its own citizens to extermination camps," said Ravasz.
