The Slovak government on Wednesday approved a draft for new rules to elect members to the Constitutional Court, TASR reported. The proposal to amend the constitution was prepared by Justice Minister Gabor Gal, and will need opposition support to pass through parliament. In the material Gal declared that he wants to improve the process of selecting candidates for constitutional judges. He hopes to achieve this by tightening up the qualification prerequisites for appointment.
