The Judicial Council is complete again after almost four months, as the government appointed Branislav Jablonka and Magdalena Hromcova as its members on Wednesday. The nominations were submitted by Justice Minister Lucia Zitnanska. Two of the three posts in the Judicial Council earmarked for government nominees have been vacant since September 2017. Zitnanska submitted the names after parliament managed to elect its third representative in the Judicial Council last week. A Smer-SD candidate, lawyer Michal Misik, succeeded in the secret ballot.
