Slovak food prices up 4.2 pc Jan-Nov

The average increase in food and non-alcoholic beverage prices in Slovakia reached 4.2 percent in the first 11 months of 2018, the highest in the European Union (EU), with Slovakia being followed by Romania (4.1 percent) and Hungary (3.9 percent), TASR learnt from Slovak Farming Collective (SFD) analyst Eva Sadovska on Tuesday, who referred to data from the Statistics Office and Eurostat.
