Slovak exports up 5.3 pc in Nov

Slovakia's foreign trade balance in November 2018 recorded a surplus of 83.6 million euros, which was 407.8 million euros lower than the surplus recorded in the same month of 2017, the Statistics Office has reported. Total exports of goods rose by 5.3 percent to 7.683 billion euros, while total imports grew by 11.7 percent to 7.599 billion euros. The foreign trade balance between January and November 2018 posted a surplus of 2.581 billion euros, dropping by 514 million euros y-o-y. Exported goods reached a value of 74.058 billion euros, rising by 7 percent y-o-y. The value of imported goods stood at 71.476 billion euros, growing by 8.1 percent y-o-y.
