Slovak environment ministry to clean up further polluted sites

February 21st, 2018

The environment ministry will provide for the remediation of ten areas that have mainly been contaminated due to industrial and agricultural activities, using 180 million euros, TASR learnt on Wednesday. The government approved the plan at its session earlier in the day. The locations include the Drahy Vrch municipal landfill site in Stara Tura, two landfills containing industrial waste from leather production in Bosany, and an ash dump in Horne Nastice.
